FAQ

Get Your Questions Answered Before Treatment

The most frequently asked questions from patients, answered by our specialist

Vaginal dryness is primarily caused by decreased estrogen, with menopause, postpartum, breastfeeding, and chemotherapy being major causes. Stress, excessive vaginal cleansing, and certain medications can also contribute. Appropriate treatment can significantly improve symptoms.

Dyspareunia can be caused by vaginal dryness, vaginal atrophy, infection, pelvic floor tension, and other factors. Effective treatment is possible depending on the cause, including hormone therapy, laser treatment, moisturizing therapy, and pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Lubricants help with temporary symptom relief but are not a fundamental treatment. Persistent vaginal dryness can progress to vaginal atrophy, so identifying the cause and combining fundamental treatments such as laser therapy and hormone therapy is recommended.

Post-Treatment Care Instructions

Essential guidelines for optimal results and a smooth recovery

Use Moisturizer with CautionUse prescribed or recommended moisturizers or lubricants as directed, and avoid mixing them with other products on your own. If stinging or rash occurs during use, stop using and please visit us.
Do Not Stop Topical Treatment on Your OwnEven if symptoms ease, it is best to continue using the topical treatment for the advised period. Do not increase the dose or stop on your own; if a change is needed, please consult through a visit.
Avoid Irritating FactorsStrongly scented soaps or cleansers, frequent vaginal douching, and tight synthetic-fiber underwear can add to dryness and itching, so it is best to avoid them. Wearing breathable cotton material may be helpful.
Refrain from Scratching and Excessive CleansingEven if itching occurs, scratching or excessively rubbing can cause irritation and microdamage. Gently cleansing with lukewarm water, drying thoroughly, and then moisturizing may be helpful.
Re-visit If Symptoms PersistIf dryness, itching, or pain persists despite the recommended care, or if new symptoms such as discharge, bleeding, or fever appear, do not self-diagnose and please visit again for examination.
Disclose Pregnancy and Medications in AdvanceIf there is a possibility of pregnancy, or you have current medications or underlying conditions, please let us know before treatment. The usable formulations and care methods may vary depending on your condition.
